nomart as guest at Kulturpunkt

nomart Cultural Center in Bern, in the frame of the activities for promoting the art and culture of the Republic of North Macedonia in Switzerland, is organizing an exhibition of four artists in the premises of the Kulturpunkt gallery in Bern. This activity is a part of the Connected Space initiative where nomart Cultural Center will be as guest at Kulturpunkt gallery in Bern.

To carry out this activity, nomart Cultural Center, has partnered with the National Gallery of the Republic of North Macedonia, who assisted in making the selection of the artists as well as provided institutional, administrative and logistic support to bring the artworks to Bern, Switzerland.

The exhibition will present the artworks of several prominent artists from North Macedonia:  Dita Starova, Nevzat Kica, Reshat Ameti and Zaneta Gelevska.[1]

The opening of the exhibition will be on 01.05.2021 at 20:00 hrs at the premises of Kulturpunkt gallery (PROGR, Speichergasse 4, 3011 Bern) and will be opened until 19.05.2021.[2]

The exhibition will be open to the public from 15:00 hrs until 18:00 hrs on the following days: 02, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 19 of May, 2021.

[1] The transport of artworks of Zaneta Gelevska Zani, are significantly affected by restrictions of the movement of goods caused by COVID 19 situation. Alternative digital solutions are considered for presenting her work.

Exhibition of 5 artists from North Macedonia in Bern

Nomart Cultural Center, in the frames of its activities of promoting the art and culture of North Macedonia in Switzerland, presents the artworks of 5 well established artists from North Macedonia in a joint exhibition. Each one of the artists is represented with works characterizing their own style and medium, three of them painters (Imer Bajrami, Bige Kocishta and Ali Sinani) and two graphic artists (Trajce Blazevski and Evgeniy Pantev)
The exhibition will be open for the public within the groundfloor premises of Stiftung PROGR (East and West), in Bern from 15.11.2020 – 20.12.2020. In order to compensate for the physical absence of the participants, the exhibition will be enriched with video statements of the artists that will be disseminated through different online channels of NOMART Cultural Center.
